April 8th

Last week was a good week me and Steve had a good time we did the usual but the only difference was they had Easter egg hunt. the kids were so happy and they came in with bags of candy because there was no real egg it was only the plastic on but I did not see no kids walking around pouting so that mad me feel good.

I also went on Friday I had the best time with the kids and Ms Donna. Friday is a free day so you do not do any home work, you start off with a dance contest and when all the kids get done dancing they all dance together and they eat candy for participating. Ms.Donna was dancing and that was real funny cause that made everybody get up and start doing the cupid shuffle.

Ms. Donna doesn’t really ask for much but when she asks for something she expects it to be done and done well.

Cell Phone Etiquette

When I finished it said I could have been worst.

I was basically making you notice how much of a distraction a cell phone could be. The survey really makes you thank how other people feel and what you don’t want someone else to do to you.

Another Day

Last week was a wonderful week I went to the boys and girls club. It was a different week I came at the usual time 2:30 but the kids was already there because they had early release so I went down stairs to help with home work and a little girl told me to help her so I help. After homework I went up stairs and played pool with the other kids. That’s stuff I do every week but I got to play basketball and the kids were very friendly and nice they did not fight nor argue they just played ball and believe it or not they were pretty good. One kid that stuck out to me was a boy named Rickie he is a real good ball player and plus he goes to my church so that all I did at me intern.

5 things to be a better note taker

1) Review your notes from the previous class session before you come to class.

2) Bring all note taking materials with you to class

3) Keep your attention focused on what your teacher is saying

4) Write quickly so that you can include all the important information in your notes

5) Rewrite your notes

Topic 3: Study Skills

BE PREPARED
I picked be prepared because I when I come to class I am never prepared because I always forget to get my pencils and paper. I want to work on get organized because if your are organized you will be able to thank and you wont fill that packed and you would be able to breath.

Taking Good Notes
Now I picked this because I never take notes because when I take notes I never read them so I just save myself time but I am trying to work on this problem mainly because it’s a big one. Another reason I don’t take notes is because I am a auditory learning.

Other Habits for Success

A stable household would be a good one because if you have problems at home when you come to school your mind will be on something besides the work you need to get done. You would be stressed out and then u might not even do any work.

I think that is the only messing because if you have all the other ones you would be very successful at Classic City High.
